SCREEN
\/\/\/\/TILT, sculpture screen /\/\/\/\/ \
TILT is a collaboration french-chinese with the architect Cheung Pong Yuen (CPYA) and me. We propose the concept of Feng Shui, this millennial art of Chinese culture. The art of Feng Shui ‘风水‘ which literally means "wind and water". This art hs a aim to harmonize the Qi that designates the energy of an environment and is also called "vital breath". When it comes to use Feng Shui for a space, its benefits are to promote the health, well-being and prosperity of the occupants.
We propose a collection of sculpture-folding screen to embody the Chinese art of Feng Shui to recreate new spaces, to diffract light and to mark the thresholds of a space. We assemble and deploy the modules in height at will and can horizontally extend them to infinity. The transparent interstices that structure it confer lightness and softness by allowing people to see through it.
From this base, we compose differents decorations with faux-shagreen, gold leaves, cellulose fibers, brass rods... materials that allow her a free, intimate and unique expression. TILT acquires an unprecedented relief and sculpts your space, animating it in the manner of a stream of air that would come through it.
